Their goal is to improve the quality of sleep of their customers. Hence, the price range was decided while keeping the country’s economy in mind. The company tried to make sure that most of the population of India is able to afford these products.

FitMat has three main product categories – mattress, pillow and topper. While the first two are well known items, toppers were quite new in the industry back then. It is a layer of two inches of memory foam that you can use on your existing mattress. This way, you can make your sleep more comfortable without having to spend too much. This is the product that made FitMat so popular. While most of the items in the market had a big price tag, a topper could give you similar comfort in almost half the price. It could never quite measure up to the proper memory foam mattress though.

Today, after over a decade later, the company is still working on the dream of improving India’s quality of sleep. With over 10,000 units sold, the journey has hardly even started. The goal of reaching every Indian is still far away.
